What Consumers Say About Their EC-06c Shiatsu Massage Chair
Instructions. The consensus is that the EC-06c comes with instructions that seem to be badly translated into English.
Assembly. Surprisingly, even with badly translated instructions, the EC-06c is easy and fast to assemble. Some consumers took them only 10 minutes to put the chair together. One buyer said that had he known assembly is simply “lifting the back up and screw in the 2 side arm tops,” it could have taken him 2 to 5 minutes.
Delivery. Just like what consumers have said about the BestMassage EC-12, you need to get the EC-06c inside your home by yourself. The delivery guys will only drop it at your doorstep.
Appearance. There seems to be opposing descriptions as to what the material of this massage chair’s exterior is. While some say, it is made from “real leather,” others have said it is “leather-like.” The arm rests, as one consumer has described, are made from wood and have a high-gloss finish.
Heat Function. When it comes to assembly, a few buyers found difficulty figuring out where to plug in the heater. As for the heat mode’s performance, the general comment is that the heat produced is “minimal,” “weak,” or “not very strong.”
Quality of Massage. The EC-06 works as advertised. When it works out of the box, you can use it to massage your entire body — Shiatsu for the back and compression or squeezing action for the arms, thighs, and legs.
However, we can’t ignore some not-so-positive comments about the air massage / bags. Several consumers have said that the air massage is “weak,” “not effective,” or “do not work well” for the arms and thighs. If not that, the air bags may not fit if you have big arms or calves.
Overall, though, the massaging action this chair provides can “improve back problem,” makes you “feel so good,” or reduce your visit to a chiropractor as other consumers have claimed. [Please read our disclaimer.]
Complaints. The biggest complaint that some consumers have said, which is hard to ignore, is that the EC-06c has a “weak warranty.” That is, should you want to send it back for, say, defective parts, you may have to pay the shipping cost or you may need to find someone to fix the problem.
